A warm water soak with a gentle ionic charge
An ionic foot bath is a basin of warm water paired with a small array that runs a gentle, low-voltage current through the water while your feet soak. The process is often called "ionic cleansing" or "detox foot bath."
You'll sit in a comfortable spa chair with your feet in the basin for the length of the session — no tools touch your skin, and the water temperature is kept comfortable throughout.
Many guests use it as a stand-alone relaxation ritual, and others pair it with a massage for a full head-to-toe reset.
Reported benefits of ionic foot baths
Ionic foot baths are a relaxation-forward wellness service. As with any complementary treatment, results and sensations vary by person.
Deep relaxation
Warm water, a comfortable seat, and 30 quiet minutes make this one of our most requested "just let me unwind" services.
Tired-feet relief
The warm soak is popular with guests who are on their feet all day or dealing with general foot and ankle fatigue.
A grounding reset
Many guests describe the ritual itself — stepping away, sitting quietly, unplugging for half an hour — as the real benefit.
Your foot bath session, step by step
Get comfortable
Roll up your pant legs, remove socks and shoes, and settle into the spa chair.
Feet in the basin
Your therapist fills the basin with warm water and starts the ionic array.
Soak for ~30 minutes
Sit back, read, or simply close your eyes while the water works and you relax.
Dry off & go
Towels are provided to dry off before you head out — no rinsing required.
Good to know before you book
If you're pregnant, have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, or have open wounds on your feet, please check with your physician and let your therapist know before booking. Ionic foot baths are a complementary wellness service, not a medical treatment.
Common foot bath questions
How long does a session take?
Most foot bath sessions run about 30 minutes, plus a few minutes to get settled and dry off afterward.
Does the water change color?
Some ionic foot bath systems produce water color changes during use. This is a normal part of how the array interacts with water and minerals, and is not a diagnostic indicator on its own.
Can I get a foot bath and a massage the same visit?
Absolutely — it's a popular add-on. Mention it when you book so we can schedule enough time.
Is it safe for everyone?
It's generally well tolerated, but isn't recommended during pregnancy or for guests with pacemakers/implanted electronic devices. See the note above, or call us with questions.
Ready to soak your feet?
Book a standalone foot bath or add it to your next massage visit.
